Dr. Marcus R. Kret

Marcus R. Kret, M.D., is a Colorado native and a University of Colorado – Boulder graduate. He attended the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following medical school, Dr. Kret received his general surgery training at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. During this time, he also completed a one-year research fellowship in vascular surgery that led to several peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Kret completed his clinical fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at Stanford University, where he gained extensive experience in complex endovascular repair of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, including the use of branched and fenestrated technology. In addition, he received training in both open and endovascular therapies for carotid and lower extremity arterial disease, dialysis access creation and maintenance, as well as endovenous ablation for varicose veins.

When not treating patients, Dr. Kret enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, Cooper and Madeleine. He is an avid skier and is excited to introduce his family to the year-round outdoor activities that abound in Colorado.
